After much struggle and headache – ( don’t forget I’m a silver surfer trying to cope with a shortness of breath and tethered all day to a plastic air-hose) – at last I have managed to post a picture taken during my “Out West” saga…
And although this first picture is not in chronological order, nevertheless, it stands significantly as an almost “journey’s end” status as, at the time, I was hot on the trail of my long-lost cousin, Rose Rasmussen.
In fact, I was only a couple of hours away from an historic meeting with my cousin in Laramie – the famous cowboy town whose name I have just donated to my first picture. Incidentally, anybody remember the well-known western: “The Man From Laramie” that starred Jimmy Stewart and Marlene Deitrich?
Anyway, that’s my first attempt and I am hoping that I can improve the layout of my blog to include a lot of the pictures we took. Some of you bloggers must be real professionals, the way you set out the layouts. They really are excellent…
But I must get on. I have a few things to take care of quite apart from trying to write decent blogs.
